Steampunk and Lace vs. Romance with a 1920s Influence

Inspired by the Bond films (Casino Royale and Skyfall) and the new year motivates me to be more daring and stronger. This outfit played in my mind of a femme fatale/spy at a lounge or club to complete her mission. And how this relates to my new year and me is how I want to be in the future. No, not a killer or spy but an independent and strong woman. The splashes of gold present a woman that's cold and hard like a rock. The sleek black to show off the chic and professional person she is. Like the title says, one look from her could kill you.

Lately I've realized that my sets have been too full of expensive things. Sure, they're pretty, but the reason why I picked them of the supposed high quality that's associated with price instead of the beauty in the clothes. I've steered too far for brands and prices instead of the true beauty and vision of clothes and the art of fashion.

Had a Japanese and Viet inspiration with the Emilio Pucci shoes and those awesome leggings. I know it's not any outfit one can wear anywhere, but if there's a party, and you want to make a statement, go ahead because this was my intent.

Those beautiful and delicate colors of beige, white, and cream really bring an ethereal and eerie feeling. Sometimes, it makes me think of fantasies or fleeting dreams. And those colors always match perfectly with the tales of romance
